LEVEL Tumbling Classes are based on current skill

What to wear: barefoot, hair tied back, form fitting tumblewear

Recital: OPTIONAL tumbling performance at recital. Details will be launched in Feb or March to adequately prepare select levels and routines.

Level 1 - 45 min

Description: A progression of the Intro class and for a longer duration. Skill instruction includes backbend, one-hand cartwheel, front limber and round off. Running tumbling will be introduced and tumblers will begin connecting skills to challenge coordination. Basic conditioning for muscular strength/endurance is included.

Level 2 - 45/60 min

Description: Proficient at Level 1 skills, this level focuses on body awareness and control upon all standing and running skills. Instruction of front and back walkovers will be a high priority within this level.

Level 3 - 45/60 min

Description: Tumblers that have mastered front/back walkovers will focus on power in this level. Back handsprings will be worked aggressively. This level also prepares tumblers for connecting advanced skills.

Level 4 - 45/60 min

Description: Tumblers have (unassisted) either a standing back handspring or a running round-off back handspring. Drills and high back handspring repetitions will progress these tumblers to having more confidence with their standing and running pass. Advancement to consecutive back handsprings will be encouraged.

Level 5 - 45 min

Description: For those who can execute consecutive back handsprings, this level will push tumblers to become better athletes. Standing, running, power and combination skills will be practiced until perfected.
